Tips/theories for anyone playing #PokemonGo

1. Pokémon don't appear on highways/parking lots for a reason. I don't know why people are trying to play the game while driving. I tested this while my mom was driving. Although you may find Pokémon near, they are often (hopefully always) NOT WHERE YOU'RE DRIVING. So please hand your phone to a passenger or simply turn it off to save battery and possibly your life.

2. We're not given any instructions about the game for a reason. The game encourages you to find other trainers to see what has/hasn't worked for them. So all closest Pokémon trainers, I suggest finding other people who play the game too.

3. You can find more Pokémon hordes when your phone is not in your hand. I haven't tested this for sure but I learned that you can encounter Pokémon when you leave the app open (and phone locked) and wait for a couple of minutes before opening it again. It hasn't always been working for me so this theory could be wrong. Another option is to put it on power save mode and wait until your phone vibrates/makes sound.

4. Pokémon go shouldn't encourage you to trespass or do anything illegal for that matter. This is what the poke spots are for! The app encourages trainers to go to these poke spots to play the game. If you want Pokémon, find a poke spot on lure mode.

4. If you have a hard time trying to get certain Pokémon and constantly lose it, DON'T WORRY THEY’RE NOT DEAD. There’s a reason the candy system is there, the game expects you to find them again so hold all ye horses.
